Mark Boor - Executive Chef - Trio Bistro

  Mark Boor got his introduction to culinary arts in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1989.  After Serving Tours in the U. S. Coast Guard and U. S. Navy Mark settled back in Indianapolis and began as a cook at Kona Jack’s Fish Market.  In 2000 at age 28, received his first Executive Chef Position at Villa on Delaware in Indianapolis.  Mark then was named Restaurant Chef at the Omni Severin Hotel, a four diamond property in downtown Indianapolis.

In 2003 Mark relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida to the Hurricane Seafood Restaurant where he was named to the “Top Twenty Chefs of Central Florida” in 2004.  From there he went to Sarasota to the Columbia Restaurant on famed St. Armand’s Circle.  In 2009 Mark returned to the Midwest where he is currently Executive Chef at Trio Bistro in Cincinnati, Ohio.  In February 2010 Mark competed and won the Ohio Pork Counsel’s “Taste of Elegance” competition, this allowed him to compete in June in Baltimore, Maryland at the National “Taste of Elegance” were Mark was a Finalist.


Mark resides in Northern Kentucky with his wife Anne, and two daughters Grace and Gabriella.
